The nearest large supermarkets are Winn Dixie's and Publix situated just off Cypress Parkway, Poinciana.

These supermarkets are only a few minutes drive away from the villa and sell just about everything you will need and stay open

7 days a week

There is also a new Walmart superstore which is located behind Winn Dixie's

Also on the US192 are shops that sell designer jeans and T-shirts etc. with labels such as Calvin Klein, No Fear, Boss, Levis and Wrangler. Many of these names can be found at factory outlet shops some are on the 192 and some on the 536 where names such as Gap, Nike, Reebok, Osh Kosh B"Gosh children's wear and designer shoes can be obtained.

The Premium Shopping Outlet and Millenium Mall are also highly

recommended. International Drive is another very famous shopping area.

At the north end of International Drive there is the famous Belz

'factory outlet' shopping centre. This shopping complex is truly

enormous and visitors soon realise what the locals mean when they

say 'shop till you drop'. For quality and luxury shopping the Florida

Mall along Sand Lake Road Route No. 482 is a must for any serious

shopper, with stores such as Sears, Saks, J. C. Penney and many more.

Toys 'R' Us is also located in front of the Florida Mall

Nearest Amenities

Other amenities in Poinciana include Video Rentals, a Liquor store, post office, banks, Burger King, Subway,Hairdressers etc. Half a mile further along the road is the Poinciana golf club which has a restaurant and pool, and there are several other golf clubs within easy reach of the villa.

Fifteen minutes from the villa at the Junction of US17/US192 are McDonalds and KFC among other shops and supermarkets.. A little further on is the 192 (Vine St/Irlo Bronson Highway) and this has restaurants of all types and price ranges to suit any taste and budget.

The nearest fast food outlet are Pizza Hut which is situated next to Winn Dixie Supermarket on Cypress Parkway and this has a take away or delivery only service. In the same location is a Denny's family restaurant which is reasonably priced. There is also a Burger King and a Subway Sandwich outlet in the same complex.

Nearest Banks

There is a Sun Bank cash machine in the Winn Dixie supermarket entrance area. This cash machine seems to accept most UK credit cards. Further along the main road from Winn Dixie on the left hand side is a Nations Bank / Bank of America and Washington Mutual Bank, all with cash machines for withdrawls.During opening hours you can change travellers cheques and use most major UK credit cards to withdraw cash. Remember you need your passport with you to verify your identity before you can change travellers cheques. There is also a 'hole in the wall' cash machine, which seems to accept most major UK credit cards.Dollar travellers cheques should be taken to the U.S.A. and may be used like cash in most shops and restaurants.
